Gabapentin Shelf Life

My prescription was from two years ago. Now I have the same nerve pain in my upper arm and I have some 100 mg capsules left over. Do not want to see doctor for the same thing. Can I take the capsules now?

Update: I am having good results from the Gabapentin.

I wish I could say I had successful results with gabapentin or pregabalin. I tried them both at the highest to the lowest milligrams. My body felt like it was completely shutting down.... I am not going into details because sometimes people can find fault in medication just how others react. Stay Safe!
