Gabapentin And Withdrawl Dizziness

I took gabapentin for about a month, 300mg 3 or 4 times a day, i have stopped taking it, cold turkey, and its been a week, only withdrawl i have is dizziness/ fuzzy vision during the day, no other withdrawl symptoms anymore.

Hi Ryan,

I appreciate you sharing your feedback on Gabapentin, as from what I've seen around the forum, many patients do tend to experience at least some amount of withdrawal upon going cold turkey... Often times with worse symptoms than what you described. However your case goes to show that not everyone is affected by this drug in the same way.

With that said, I'd be curious to know whether each dose of Gabapentin is cumulative in the body?

I've had 3 operations over the last 18 months due to diverticulitis and now after the first opp had issues and have been prescribed gabapentine. Problem is I'm due back to work in 3 weeks and my doc has asked me to start a course of gabapentine whitch apparently affects your driving ability . I drive a huge telescopic forklift truck .more to the point you can't just stop taking them if there are side affects. Not sure if I should even start the course as it will build up to a big dose which you can't just stop when I go back to work.
