I take 4 mgs of suboxone everyday and it's been like 5 hours since I took my suboxone. Is it ok to take a gabapentin?

The FDA recommends that they usually not be taken together, since they can both cause depression of the central nervous system, which could lead to severe health consequences and has been known to cause death, in some case.

Have they both been prescribed for you? Are you on any other medications?

Yes, Neurontin 10 yrs, Suboxone 4 months and not one problem. There's more to the story. She complaines about everything I do and take and refused to give them to me, yet another Walgreens did. She hates me. And now has cost me 60$ more than I usually paid. I am so frustrated and don't know where to go from here.

It is safe and you will not get sick but may cause depression.

No it’s not recommended because adding gabapentin to an opiate is increasing the percentage of respiratory depression and accidental overdosages. Plus it can cancel tolerance to opiates.
