My husband has been taking Gabapentin 900 for quite some time now but he won't stop drinking (he has cirrhosis).. He will even take the medicine with beer. He has experienced a lot of symptoms but he blames the pill and not the beer, but i know an alcoholic is like that ... He won't admit it. How bad is it taking Gabapentin 900 with alcohol?

What symptoms is he experiencing?

Typically, taking a prescription medication with alcohol could result in liver damage, and a worsening of the side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness, according to the FDA.
