I found this in my teenage sons drawer. What is it? I can't locate it on the computer. On one side it is GP 128 and the other side is smooth. Long white oval pill.

That reads a little strange, so I'd like to make things a little more clear to avoid confusion.

Glucophage would actually be the brand name, not the manufactured, like that post might make one think, though the identification is correct.

And to be more specific, it is a 1,000mg Metformin tablet, which is used to help lower and control blood sugar levels.
