It's Lorazepam 2 mg, which is has relatively potent anxiolytic effects and its best known indication is the short-term management of severe anxiety.

Lorazepam 2MG, is a very potent almost "tranquilizer" type medication. Often used with cases of severe stress, anxiety, and sometimes mental nerve management. Often times the medication causes a great amount of drowsiness, and relaxation. In some states Lorazepam is considered a controlled substance due to some levels of barbiturates. Caution should always be taken with this medication, with any prescription medication for that matter.

In some more rare side affects is short term memory loss before falling into a deep sleep. "Lucid Dreaming" can also sometimes followed afterward in rare cases.

This is all from personal experiences as I am currently being prescribed this medication for Dental Reconstruction since I cannot utilize "Twilight Sleep" and have SEVERE Anxiety issues associated with dental offices and work.

However, I am also prescribed somewhat strong pain medication as well (Morphine Sulfate, and Morphine Sulfate Extended Release high MG Daily) Therefore my reaction with this medication may differ from others.

Please note, that unlike more "tranquilizer" type medications this one is much safer when in conjunction with narcotic pain medication like Morphine.

HOWEVER, DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE PAIN MEDICATION KNOWN AS METHADONE!!!

A family member of mine was prescribed both, which was VERY irresponsible of both the Doctor AND the pharmacy. She fell into a deep sleep, and never woke up! Respiratory failure which is common already with Methadone was/can be ENHANCED by Lorazepam.

For more information on common, uncommon, and rare side affects, please visit the following link, and as ALWAYS talk to your local Pharmacist, AND Doctor. Make sure that Lorazepam is safe if you are taking ANY other medication regardless if it is narcotic or not. Always use as directed by your doctor and/or pharmacist. Finally, NEVER share your medication, no matter what it is, or who it's for, for ANY reason. Please be safe, I hope this information was helpful to someone.
