Hi sam,
Is there any chance that you may have misread the marking on the pill? Reason I'm asking is that I located a pill that fits your description exactly, EXCEPT that the imprint says "E 44" as opposed to "G 44". Funny thing is, that the "E" actually does look like a "G", but after further investigation, all pill descriptions depict it as an "E". I think the middle line of the "E" is what throws people off from making this determination, because it's italic (slanted) and not fully connected.
In any case this pill is identified as Tizanidine hydrochloride 4 mg; which is used as a muscle relaxant.

I hope this helps!
