I have 3 daughters and the 2nd and 3rd were conceived with Clomid. I am 39 now and my doc would not prescribe it again for me. I bought Furtile 50 from india in the foil packs with the rubber band and took it this week. Hopefully something happens as my clock is ticking like crazy. I know how clomid works so im anxious to see how this does. The only side effect is im a little cranky. Def not typical of me to be cranky. I will let ya know what transpires.

Thank you for sharing your story. Please do post back if you have any success with the medicine from India. They typically manufacture generics with the same active ingredients as domestic brands but it is not always as reliable and consistent because the quality control isn't mandated the same way as the FDA does. Would you happen to know why your doctor is not wanting to prescribe the Clomid for you to begin with? Best wishes with everything!

Could you help me please? I'm 42 and have been trying to get pregnant for years and just received clomid and no Instructions. If it worked for you, could you tell me how to take it (like when during the cycle to take it)? Thank you in advance.

Did you ever figure out when to take them and for how long? I just got mine in the mail. I want to start but I think I read take it five days and then you're supposed to ovulate the fifth day. But I think u stop taking them until a month after. (Granted taking it in cycles) so i don't know but I think it's one pill for five days and supposed to be ovulating after that point I think... then I'm not sure but if you know something else please help

Hi. I've taken them and have been successful twice. You start the pills on the fifth day of your cycle which is day 5-9. Start checking ovalation around cycle day 12 and you know the rest after that. Good luck and lots of baby dust!!

Did you get yours from India, both times? I have had two lots on the nhs but only had one child. 2nd course didn't work?? It can be quite expensive! But I'm a bit unsure as the name on the pack is furtile 50mg & there isn't much info out on the web for it. Just want to make sure it's safe before using it.

Starting on these today on day 3 of my cycle, interesting as my period only ever lasts for 3-4 days anyway. 35 yrs old. Have been trying for 4-5mths with 1 chemical pregnancy and no other luck. I'm worried I'm getting too old and don't have much time to wait. I also don't want to have a baby too late in my 30s. My cycles have been getting shorter lately also. Will keep you posted :)

I just received mine today and will begin taking them tonight CD 2-6 at the 50mg dose. There are different days that people recommend. I've seen 1-5, 2-6, 3-7, 4-8 and 5-9. From what I read, if you take it earlier like 1-5 or 2-6 it's supposed to produce more follicles. If you take it at 4-8 or 5-9 it will produce less follicles but they will be more mature/healthy. So 3-7 seems to be kinda middle of the road. Of course that's what I've read online and I don't know how accurate it is. Good luck and please update, as I will!

Update. I took 5 tablets on days 3-7. Nothing much whilst taking the tablets but then felt a lot of cramping, nausea, headaches and preg symptoms after ovulation time. Positive preg test 12dpo, and late period. However period has come and gone now (very light flow lasted 3-4 days) and negative test. Seems like another chemical pregnancy for me. I have 5 tablets left from the pack. Will do another round soon...I wanted to go back to back rounds but my partner suggested I need to let my body rest and relax again after this. Will update again once anything changes.

I'm so sorry Clarise. I just experienced a chemical last cycle as well, it's awful. :( It's a good sign though, that you were able to conceive. Giving your body a rest is a good idea. That being said, I've always heard your body is more fertile after a miscarriage. As for me, today will be my 3rd dose and so far the only side effect I've experienced is nausea for a few hours after taking each dose. I'm taking it at night because I heard that helps minimize the side effects. Best of luck to you on your next cycle and again I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thank you xx. Seems I can get the little eggs to fertilise but having them stick is another challenge. Hopefully after a couple of cycles rest and not stressing about it we will get a baby in there :) good luck to everyone else, I'd love to hear success stories.

Just an update on me. I am now on CD 12, and I took the Furtile-50 on CD's 2-6. I'm using Wondfo OPK's along with Clearblue Advanced Digital OPK's which I started on CD 9. My OPK's were getting a little darker each day but still not positive, and my Clearblue was giving me a "low fertility" reading on CD 9 & 10, and a "high fertility" reading on CD 11 & 12. But even though I got a high reading today, my OPK was way lighter. Looking at the progression it appears that I may have ovulated already on CD 11 and perhaps just missed the surge. Either that, or I geared up to O but my body changed its mind. :( I've never had this happen before. Usually my OPK's get progressively darker and I will O between CD 15-18. So I'm really confused about what's going on. I have been slack about taking my temp this cycle so I can't even rely on that. We BD on CD 10 so if I did already O at least we got one BD session in beforehand. All I can do now is just watch and wait! How is everyone else going?

Quick update - this has been a crazy cycle. I'm on CD 19 and got a positive opk late last night and a blazing positive opk plus a Peak on the Clearblue Advanced Digital opk today. Lots of ewcm, pinching in both ovaries, so I'm expecting to O today or tomorrow! :). How is everyone else??

Good luck Jenn! I hope this is your month! I'm officially 1 dpo. I'm an obsessive early tester so I plan to start testing on 8 dpo.

Any updates ladies? I'm on my 3rd round and currently 2dpo. First round was 50mg cd 2-6, BFN. Second round was 100mg cd 3-7, BFN. This round is 50mg cd 5-9. I actually ovulated on cd 20 on rounds 1&2. My usua (non-medicated) O time is around cd 15-18. This cycle, I O'd on cd 18 or 19. It was a strong O too, very painful! And even now at 2dpo (possibly 3dpo), I'm having some AF-like cramps. I hope it's a good sign for me!
