I found a small round yellow pill with m2 on one side (other side is unreadable) in a minors bag. So I really want to know what it is, whether it's harmful, etc.? ## Hello Linda, I wasn't able to find an exact match for the pill you are describing, how bright of a yellow is the pill? There are two round pills I found with M2 imprints (pictured below) that are considered white but have a yellowish tint. Hi. My cat is on furosemide and the tablets are usually white but I have been given smaller grey/blue tablets with "svp" etched on them. Is this right? ## Who gave them to you? I just moved from Massachusetts to Maryland to care for my 77 yr old mom and 80 yr old dad. I found the above described pill in the bottom of my mom's medication lock box and I'm not certain what medication it is. I do know that the pharmacy they use often purchases whatever manufacturer has the lowest price which I don't mind. have been taking furosemide 40 mg for 25 years it suddenly stopped working and I gained 25 lbs rather guickly. I cannot find the manf. of the 80mg.pills that the pharmacy sub for the fortys and now they want to charge me full price for generic kind. ## The pharmacy should be able to order them in for you. If they won't, you may need to try a different pharmacy. I can't find out what it is anywhere, someone on one site said it was FUROSEMIDE but I looked it up and it didn't look like it. ## I have the same pills and they were prescribed for Risperedol as a mood stabilizer ## Tasha is correct, this tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 0.25mgs of Risperidone, which is a very potent antipsychotic, it is used to treat various mood disorders, and some cases of insomnia. The side that doesn't have 40 on it has a line down the middle but i can't read what it has going around the pill ## The closest match I could find shows that the pill is identified as Furosemide (40 mg). However the markings you are unable to read can significantly change what this pill could be. On this specific pill I located, the number 40 is on one side; and on the other side there is a score line across the middle, with the words 'Mylan' on the top half of the line and the numbers '216' on the bottom half. Does this sound or look familiar based on what you can see?
