I have searched everywhere and this is the only reference I found. The 200 on the pill has me a little worried has anyone else been prescribed this pill as a 10mg Fosinopril substitute ## I have been taking Fosinopril for many years, and just received a scrip of the white round I G 200 pills. I have not been able to find any other information on why this is a substitute for Fosinopril 10 mg. and it also has me worried since it doesn't look the same as the white rectangular Fosinopril. ## Yes, these tablets contain 10mgs of Fosinopril, it isn't a substitute for it, so to speak, it is just another generic that is available. I only hav part of it but its white round and apears that its an x and the last two numbers are 17 or 77 ! I received medication from the VA with IG on one side and 200 on the other. I think it is the wrong med. It is supposed to be fosinopril. We have a RX for fosinopril 40 mg and one bottle has a round white tablet with E 47 on it and the other has hexagonal white tablets with 40 on one side and 2732 on the other.
