My 34-year-old wife is suffering from psoriasis from the last 7 years. Now she has pain in 3 joints from the last 2 years. Her doctor recommended folitrax 7.5mg - 2 tablets in a week. Kindly tell me about side effects of this medicine.

I have Rhumetoid Arthiritis for last 17 years and my doctor is giving me a combination of Folitrax-20 mg once a week and Lefno-20 daily. I also take Nutralite off and on which really helps. The most important thing I am associated with Sahaja Yoga for past 7 years. My dear friends pls dont use 4life transfer foctor.It is not an appoved medicine.So pls don't use.You can consult ayurvedic doctor for your long term diseases. Threre is no side effects with ayurvedic medicines.I am taking ayurvedic medicine from four years for ankylosing spobdilitis.It is not cured pemanantly but iam happy with the treatment when compared to english medicine.

Dear sir
my wife is suffering from RA form last 4 years ,last year she stooped folitrex 7.5mg,and started homeopath.
then after mainly from starting of cold her condition is very bad fainoly again she started folitrex then now she is normal ,but the hair is falling now ,
i want to know that is folitrex 5mg is available or not , because i want to reduce power of medicine.

I was having skin problem psoriasis since last 30yrs which ultimately developed to psoriatic arthiris. since last 5 yrs i have been taking SALAZAAR DS once daily, Folvite one tab twice a week and Folitrax7.5 mg 2tab every sunday. Please inform if it is safe to take these medicines forever and what all may be their side effects.

I am suffering from back ,ribs,left hand tennis bone pain for last 4 months.. Visited no. of doctors, but no use... Used allopathy and homeopathy, undergone ultrasound therapy, magneto therapy, accuepressure and what not every thing....found some relief in left hand tennis bone issue. But back pain, ribs pain and more pain while coughing and squeezing is still experiencing.. Recently i was advised to visit kamineni hospital and consult Rheumatologist...All the diagnostic tests were performed... Did not find any issue in the reports including RA which is negative.. And only CRP is showing positive. Moreover I have been suffering from recurring mouth ulcers for the last 4 years. Most of the times the CRP is positive. So doctor suggested 1 month course with the following medicines..

1) ETOVA-MR everyday morning after breakfeast
2) PANTIUM 40 --- everyday morning empty stomach.
3) IDENTI-CAL ---- every day after breakfeast.
4) BECELAC FORTE -- daily after lunch
5) PREGALIN X SR 75 --daily night
6) FOLITRAX 10 --- every sunday morning
7) FOLVITE -- every sunday night.

So far 18 days are over... so far not found much improvement. As per doctor, my problem is not exact RA one.. but still given some medicines related to it. No doctor did not say exactly, so far ,what is my problem. Pl. your advise/comments.....

I've been taking Folitrax for 7 months. I am also taking Mesacol 800mg for chron's disease. Now I am suffering from a skin disorder and mouth sores. What are the possible side effects of these drugs in the long run? How long should Folitrax be taken?
