A friend of mine got some slimming pills called Reduce 15 mg that he bought in Thailand. They are not allowed in the country where I live, so I can't consult my doctor. I'm healthy but I have suffered from stress due to too much work, and have been medicated for that a couple of times, though not currently. I'm not fat, but I have gained 20 kg due to stress. I have being taking Nuzak for about 3 weeks now. I have not experienced any severe side effects. I am sleeping better and not feeling like I can't cope with everything. However, I have put on about 3kgs even though I have cut down on my carb intake, Is weight gain a side effect of Nazuk. ## No, that is not a typical side effect of Fluoxetine, that active ingredient in Nuzak, according to NIH reports. It is most commonly known to maintain weight, or to cause weight loss, well as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and dry mouth. what is purple and green pill marked g-fl 20 ## This is probably a Fluoxetine (Prozac) capsule from a company in New Zealand called Pacific Pharmaceuticals. The purple side has symbol that looks like a Q if you look at it up-wise. The green side has FL 20 on it, for Fluox 20mg. ## Mylan Pharmaceuticals lists 20mgs of Fluoxetine, which is a generic for Prozac, it an antidepressant, that is also used to treat anxiety. I have been taking 20mg Fluoxetine and 15mg of Mirtazapine daily. I have entered a drug study for depression and keep showing benzodiazapine positive though I'm not using any. ## I've come to the conclusion that you can in fact have false positives for Benzodiazepines while taking a Selective Seratonin Re-uptake Inhibitor (SSRI) such as Fluoxetine. Although it is not commonly known for causing false positives for Benzodiazepines, there's always that chance. In any case, many places should allow you to present proof of a prescription prior to the screening; that way you won't be held accountable for a positive result. I am currently prescribed 60mg Fluoxetine, 20 mg Abilify and 10mg Zolpidem, along with 15mg Mirtazapine. I have tested positive off and on for benzos since beginning Zolpidem in June. I tested positive at 1:30pm and negative at about 6:30pm. My urine test was sent to a lab. Why does this keep happening? Does pliva 647 have an additive that celiacs shouldn't use? ## Hi nancy, Based on my research, Pliva 647 (Fluoxetine 10 mg, NDC 50111-647) contains the following list of inactive ingredients: - Ammonia - D&C Yellow No. 10 - Aluminum Oxide - FD&C Blue No. 1 - Gelatin - Magnesium Stearate - Starch, Corn - Propylene Glycol - Shellac - Titanium Dioxide While gluten itself doesn't appear to be listed, I often hear that it can also be disguised as various forms of starch. If you think you may be experiencing any sort of reaction to one of the fillers in this medication, it's very likely that it could be associated with that particular ingredient. I just received these tablets in the mail. I was prescribed to this medication but haven't been able to get back to my doctor to renew. The pills look very different. It is a green tablet with no markings except for a break line on one side. The packet says Fluoxetine IP and Tritin-20. After three highly painful acid in the throat episodes, including a trip to the emergency room, I found this site and realized the problem. Three doctors and one pharmacist had never heard of the problem. Bless you Dr. Google! The Blue pills should be reserved for torture purposes only. ## It is amazing that people are complaining about the different types of generic, Prozac. So my wife recently switched to Walmart to get her Fluoxetine 20MG tabs to save money. She ended up with Northstar Rx LLC brand pills. These are blue dark/light with A106 on them. It's been 3 days now of anxiety, diarrhea, and just all out feeling bad. When we were looking up the manufacturing info I was shocked to see that Northstar is actually shipping these to be produced for them by: Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited in India.... What the hell? I was precribed Prozac 5 months ago and stopped taking it about 2 months ago, will this cause a false postive for a hair follicle drug screening?
