Possible side effects of this medication can include any or a combination of one or more the following symptoms:

-headache
-dizziness
-diarrhea
-stomach pain
-heartburn
-change in ability to taste food
-nausea
-extreme tiredness
-unusual bruising or bleeding
-lack of energy
-loss of appetite
-pain in the upper right part of the stomach
-yellowing of the skin or eyes
-flu-like symptoms
-dark urine
-pale stools
-seizures
-rash
-hives
-itching
-swelling of the face , throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
-difficulty breathing or swallowing

It is important to contact your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away.

Abdominal pain is an understatement! I took one 150 mg tablet of fluconzole 2 weeks after an abdominal hysterectomy since doc didn't want me to have anything vaginally. About 20 hours later I experienced the worst pain of my life in the middle of my abdomen. Seriously worse than either of my natural childbirths or the hysterectomy recovery. Thank goodness I still had some pain medicine which gave me relief within an hour. The doctor ruled out an infection.....this is the only thing they could blame it on. The warning should be Severe Abdominal Pain!
