If you're in that tight of a spot and can't afford a doctor or any type of medical assistance, then I'm honestly a bit lost on how I or anyone else can be of much assistance to you. Is there anyway you can connect with family/friends for temporary financial support until you receive your settlement check from the accident?

I am aware that some drug manufacturers also offer various types of "patient assistance programs" for those with lesser income. You may want to look into those options first. Perhaps your most recent doctor can even refer you to an appropriate source for help in that category. But given the situation, you'd likely qualify for many other support systems in your general area.

I wish you a smooth recovery and hope this helps in any way!

Just remember- you can't allow your doctors or healthcare providers to convince you that your depression is causing your pain, it's your undertreated pain that's causing the depression. That is, of course, just my opinion & for myself, it's absolutely indisputable. It bothers me a great deal when that cowardly scapegoat gets thrown my way. Untreated pain is depressing, but not validating someone's legitimate cause of pain is cruel, calloused, and maddening.
