Fill Oxycodone Prescription (Page 24)

Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

If he is a cancer patient then he should be able to go to a hospital and get them. According to the unspoken new laws the DEA is trying to get only cancer and aids will be able to get them after jan 2013. Good luck.

i can only hope the governer, pam bondi, dea-all of them get exactly whats coming to them. hope they or someone they love has to live in pain and go through what were going through....which still wouldnt prolly change anything but would make me feel better just to see they see what we legit patients are going through hell. heck my new doctor wont even write me anything but 10/325 percs and valium. for 12 years, several surgeries later, gunshot i use to be on 80mg oxycontin 4 times daily(2 tabs twice daily) until they switched formula(sucked) and didnt work. got on 150 30mg roxicodone and ms contin 30mg (which was alot less than the 4 80mg oxycontin a day i was getting for over 10 years) then overnight...dr shut down in june...finally get a doctor-saved money and he wont write me anything but methadone(does nothing for pain-ive had it) helps detox symptoms but not pain, percocet, morphine(too expensive for me) im disabled and awaiting disability so income is limited right now, and oxycontin new formula. he wouldnt give me what has worked for so many years-oxycodone or dilaudid. what kind of pain doctor does not write this...bullcrap, i think cause i was a patient of the place that was shut down to no fault of my own but this situation sux. im calling my attorney and getting another dr. i can get the meds filled from my pharmacy but need a dr to write them now and its become so hard. as stated all pill mills are pretty much shut down now. so why dont they let these doctors write meds to help the patients. i take all 4 percs in the morning(40 mg) just so i can get out of bed and have a productive day well start to one anyways. then ive got nothing left till 7am the next day. so i feel minumal pain from 7am to 2pm(approx) and all downhill from there. ive tried doing this bs pain regiment for 3 months now and something is better than nothing but my God man, as fcked up as i am why cant he write me meds that work well for me and is very affordable and not killing the liver. thankfully im only getting 10/325 4 times a day so only taking 1400mg tylenol daily. even though i have a full bottle i dont take more than 4 pills a day. once in while my buddy gives me some 30's roxies and some dilaudid but can only take these for few days a month until i find a new doctor. it costs so much to keep moving from 1 dr to another but i have no choice. as much as i pay, why should i only get 4 10mg percs a day when for 12 years was getting between 180mg-320mg oxycodone daily and was never in too much pain. why cant the patients that are hurting still not get there meds.
i guess just need to find a dr thats not too scared.

Mexico lol dont make me laugh my brother n law is a internlist and they give tylnol after 3rd day of most surgeries ,they know ,how dependent we become and they know ,hey I was born with bone disease pain everyday, but this isnt the cure ,it just helps with pain.but the risk is worse than the pain, look in mirror and say we have become junkies, yes were in pain ,but were junkies now. i have 4 sqripts havent been able to fill in tampa and my doctor is trying to help me but they wont fill them.

I got the opana and it seems to be working great. Not sleepy, or stoned got my energy back. May need a higher Mg. He cant fill oxy but can for just about anything else of you live on Florida. And will treat you with respect, unlike walgreens. Tampa bay pharmacy. 6751 n Armenia ave. Tampa. I switched all 11 meds I'm on there. They want your business, I think big pharmacy's profile & just don't care.

yes anyone please send the name of pharmacies that will fill opiates. dr wrote for oxy 30's and dilaudid k4's. im in ft myers but will go to tampa, miami, orlando, anywhere in florida basically. please help he has cancer and is in alot of pain. i called the hospital, they said they cant fill there, to have the dr write for something else i can get filled. should i get opana or percocet? name of pharmacy street and city- address if you have it or i can look it up. please help someone. please.

Obviously you dont know what a junkie is. Just because we take roxies for pain and dont abuse them doesnt make us junkies. Yes we are addicted to pain relief and to the meds. Noones denying this. Heck, smoke cigs, drink alcohol and your addicted too but some can drink in moderation. a junkie is someone not needing the rx, getting it, selling them and not taking them or taking them all and not as prescribed. You need to live a little more life and learn some better vocabulary and definitions of something before you call us all junkies. Obviously you are as you must have a guilty consience or something. Or you dont take your meds responsibly. And yes were addicted needing our pharmacy to have the meds monthly or we will be sick. and in pain. You really havent a clue in the world to make a statement like that. Ok, enough ranting from me. Just one more thing.YOUR A FCKIN MORON!~

POST 466- I know in my county-indian river we can now get a doctor outside the county by 1 county in any direction and same for filling. believe it or not this month i went to publix of all places that had my roxicodone and said to me it will look better for me to stick with 1 pharmacy and i explained the situation to him that every month its been different. he said he will order for me from now on and put on his list.
be sure to goto a pharmacist thats in charge or find out where and when the head pharmacist comes in (set up like 5 pharmacies) and then go in pull aside and talk to them with your situation and out of the 5 you should be ok getting a pharmacy to help. try like a perkins or a mom and pops-they are family owned pharmacies here in my county and are great and always have had my meds even in toughest times and he orders every 30 days so your good. ide say come here to vero bch but the pharmacies will only take people from 1 county over in any direction so try to find one by you. FAMILY OWNED SMALL PHARMACIES WILL BE BEST. I feel for you and your husband. my uncle died january 2012 from cancer in Ga, sad to this day the pain he was in and he couldnt get his meds filled for sometime either until finally the va stepped in to get the man his meds. we just all have to stick together and keep fighting and all this will pass in a year tops...they put this bs system in place, allow time to adjust, pharmacies and doctors are scared right now, things will eventually ease up and we will all look back at this and hope we send a message to the state so this doesnt happen ever again.

Mickey, What prescription plan does your hubby have? I know for me I use my RX's plan mail order pharmacy. I send it in and they ship it back with signature required. I usually get it in 3-5 days. They have overnight service available but it is about 18 bucks. For me not worth the fee. Sending it regular mail takes about 8 days. I send it in about a week before the scrip is going to run out and get it back before I need more. My scrip is for Dilaudid 8mg. Hopefully you will find someone to fill the scrip soon. My mail order pharmacy is under Cigna tel med. Not sure if they will fill non member scrips. Hopefully soon this issue will get better.

I'm sorry for your friends cancer, I live in Tampa & just started opana after not being able to fill oxy 30s scrip @ walgreens or anywhere. Went through a few other mess that didn't work or I had a bad reaction to. Opana is much stronger than percocet, its very much like oxy. I'm on 10 Mg & will have to go up next month. But works great on my chronic bacck pain, does not make me feel sleepy, stoned, or like a zombie as morphine did. it also comes in a er formula. But of course my insurance denied that one. The pharmacy I found will order it & will have it in 1 to 2 days. He wont fill for out of state scrips. The name is " Tampa bay pharmacy " 6751 n. Armenia ave. Good luck my friend :-)

You, or any of us legit chronic pain people have done nothing wrong . Plain & simple, in most cases the pharmacists are on a power trip, thinking THEY ARE THE PHYSICIANS!! They profile us & deny legitimate Dr prescribed medicine. What's worse is you can call corporate, hell even the Ceo & the fact is they stand behind their pharmacists, hands down, no questions asked. Something has to change & soon. Who knows how many people are dying from withdraws, (mostly elderly & those with other medical conditions) or sadly taking their own lives just to escape the pain, shame & hardship this epidemic is causing.

I live in port charlotte fl n have been going to walgreens for over 3 yrs filling my oxyir30s mscontinEr60s n alprazalamIr2mg & in may of 2012 they told me they will no longer carry any of the pain meds and to find another pharm, well its october and thry still tell me the same s*** so needless to say i went from paying cash 275$ for all 3 scrips at walgreens to paying over 2200$ at a mom n pop oh yeah and did i mention they DONT take insurance CASH ONLY wtf this cant be legal email me with any advice xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy}

the state & the federal government has decided that is you are poor (on medicaid) that you don't need your pain medicine for serious painful conditions. i live in illinois and was just denied my fully legal prescription for ms-contin 60mg twice a day. i feel like i am being discriminated against because if you have the $534 to pay for it you get them. i have never sold my medicine and have always taken them properly. this is a travesty & plain wrong. so if you are rich or have good insurance you can get your pain medication, but if you are disabled & poor get used to suffering in extreme pain.

Yep. My friend went to get him his dilaudid this month. his dr switched him from oxy 30mg ir to dilaudid 8mg 4-6 hours. and his medicaid will pay for his roxies but wont cover dilaudid so i lent him the money. and as of 2013 no more 15/30 ir oxycodone. ive heard they are remorulating and/or cease making them altogether. so for a person like me who has always taken meds properly since 2000, oxycodone has worked well for me and now its hard to even get a dr to write them and once used to the oxycodone even these dilaudid arent as good relief as the oxies. but soon all insurances are going to stop paying for these meds-unless you have really good insurance and stuff. for those of us suffering unable to work, we will either have to pay cash or find which meds are covered to get switched onto.

I am in Sarasota Co. as well,and have run into th same situation,litrally,100's of times. I also am an "older" person,50 to be exact, I have NO tatoos,piercings,wild colored hair or even LONG HAIR ( HEAR ME LOUD AND CLEAR --- THAT MAKES NO DIFF. TO ME,OR SHOULD IT TO THE PHARMASIST) and i cant gt my scripts filled.WHAT I'M SAYING IS," I AM THE MOST CLEAN-CUT,ELEMENTRY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL-LOOKING PERSON YOU'll SEE ! ! ! and i get the EXACT SAME TREATMENT.I HAVE PERSONALY SEEN/HEARD A PHARM. DECLINE A PERSON IN FRONT OF ME IN LINE THE --- EXACT --- RX THAT I HAD(OXY 30) AND ALMOST WALKED OUT, BUT I HAD OTHER RX AS WELL, THEN GAVE HER ALL RX'S AND(ABRACADABRA) SHE ALL-OF-A-SUDDEN HAD THE OXY 30'S FOR ME. I was able to fill at Walgreens under my medicaid at the location on del prado cape coral too bad im out now since the store wouldnt fill both my ds and pervs only got 56 ds and had to take every six hours if i had had my percs i wouldmt of had to. I got dilaududs 4mg but there is a form my dr filled out and faxed to medicaid so i can switch to.oxycontin. The form is online called a pre auth but you must have a pharmacy that will fill for you and put thier medicsid id on the form. I also will be getting my perc 10/325 at same walgreens on the 20th. hope this hekps you guys i will keep you updated on the pre auth. Good luck god bless
