I am trying to find out where to fill my prescription for the Oxycodone HCL 30 mg #240 which I take 8 a day. I have been taking this medication for 5 to 6 years and I now have no insurance because no insurance will insure me because of my degentrative back disease which I had surgery for in March 2009 and did not help. I sitll go to Bon Secours Pain Mgmt in Portsmouth Va and have been going to for the past 10 years for this problem. I need help so I don't have to pay over $200 for this prescription. Thank you

There are currently no patient assistance programs for this, since it is a generic and there isn't even one for the name brand Roxicodone.

Have you ever tried Oxycontin, the time released formulation, which would only require a twice daily dosing?

Purdue Pharma does have an assistance program for it, for patients without insurance, which you could apply for, if your doctor is willing to prescribe it.

Otherwise, the only advice I can really give is to try to get price quotes from as many pharmacies that you can, so you can find the cheapest one.

have you tried rx saving cards? there are several available for people without insurance.UNA Rx offers an excellent one covered by most chain pharmacies.

I wouldnt be worried about the cost of the RX. I would be worried about what your going to do when you cant get near as many of those tabs as your taking now. Get ready for the new laws.

Right now we are having a problem even getting your medication in Florida. However I am on medicare and know for a fact that I could not get the amount of medication that you are on for $200. I believe it is impossible unless you can get some kind of help from the drug company! Good Luck!

In reply to your Oxycodone 15mg IR #240, There is a pharmacy I go to in california that will fill the scripts but it is getting much harder as he can only dispense x amount of opiates per month. I get lucky because my script is around the first week of the month. for my #240 Roxy's 30MG IR +180 Percocet + 90 350mg Soma I pay around $150.00 total. However the same exact script at CVS or Rite Aid is around $1,100.00. totally a rip off. I feel for you and hope you can find a pharma that will give you the discounts you need to keep your quantities up that you need.

Im really in need of a new doctor to consult with or see on a regular basis if you could please email me in private I can even go further into detail if need be. I've been prescribed 240 30 mg roxis or oxycodons, 240 norcos, and 90 xanax for a little longer then 5 years now and just recently get off them, but not by choice, unfortunately my doctor passed away. And Every doctor I see will not help me even though I have MRI's, scoliosis, 2 bulged discs which they believe is pinching a nerve, and I have insomnia to boot because of the fact that he passed away his files are not allowed to be tampered with supposedly lol. So I did the suboxen method to get off the pain meds and not go threw withdrawal hell lol. Most places I went to early on wouldn't fill the 240 roxis and would look at me like a junkie and treat me like one not knowing my pain level or my medical conditions nor my reasoning's for needing the different combos but that's why HIPPA was put in place I guess rt lol. your in the LA area rt? Let me know if you ever have issues filling yours Im 99% sure I could help you find a place to get them filled for you today but worst case scenario a week. The issue is everywhere is supposedly only allowed x amount each month and that their has been a shortage on compounds for over 2 and half years, right? But just let me know and ill try to help. Email is {edited for privacy}. If your not comfortable with that I guess I understand I just cant continue to live I constant pain and no sleep and Im not having any luck with any of the 30-50 Doctors Ive seen because of the DEAs new regulations I guess, not sure. But any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

I thought you were trying to help her but at the end your true junky intent was exposed its people like you scamming legit patients and destroying it for those in need. Your kind truly disgusts me....,End stage cancer patients with incredible tolerance couldn't handle half of your supposed wish list of drugs you were supposedly prescribed.
