can someone please tell me what these are? i found 7 small round dark greyish colored pills, they have no imprint on either side ## If there are no markings on them, it may be difficult to determine exactly what they contain. We can rule them out as being a prescription medication, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. That means they are most likely an over the counter product and that leaves it open to quite a few possibilities. Learn more OTC drug details here. What is your general location? Some products are regional, so that may help to narrow it down. ## I found a large medium grey oval pills. They are unmarked but have a line going through the center on one side. Does anyone know what this may be? Anything dangerous? ## found a redish brow...

Is it safe to take Ferrous Sulfate if my iron meds have expired? ## Help, Nik! How are you? I have to be honest and say that I am not certain of the safety of this one. Iron can be very touchy. You could, however, call and ask your doctor or pharmacist. Alternatively, you could dispose of them and just pick up a new supply. Is there anything else I can help with?

sounds like ## I think this person may have been seeking information on Ferrous Sulfate, which is the technical name for Iron, this is the form that's commonly used in supplements to treat anemia. It can cause some side effects, such as dark stool and constipation. It can also be dangerous if too much is taken, so please always follow your doctor's instructions. Are there any questions or comments?

pill for iron deficiency, anemia maybe otc ## ferrous sulfate ## In regards to these, this is just the chemical name for an iron supplement, there are both prescription and non-prescription supplements that are available. The appropriate one depends on how low someone's iron levels are, when tested. And there are also some conditions where adding additional iron is contraindicated and too much of it can be very dangerous, so please check with your doctor, before adding it. It can also cause side effects, such as nausea, joint aches, darkened stool and constipation. Are there any comments or questions?

Tablets to cure anemia ## Ferrous sulfate is the correct name. Basically it is a supplemental form of Iron Salts. You can view more info in the link below... Obviously iron or iron absorption is lacking in the diet. If you want to avoid pills, you should naturally eat more iron rich foods, like spinach, hemp seeds, watermelon, and MANY more. Also try to eat more kiwi for their high vitamin C content. It is much higher than oranges and will help with iron absorption issues. There are a vast number of other foods with similar properties to help you naturally if this is the route you choose to take. Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add.
