My mother is a cancer survivor and currently taking Femara. She also takes Meprobamate, Simvastatin, Fluticasone Propionate, Plavix, Omeprazole, Coreg, Digoxin, Zestril, Zyrtec and Aleve. I am shocked at how many drugs being prescribed by several different doctors. How can I makes sense of all of this with so many doctors involved. Are there any reactions I should be concerned with. Thank you. ## I am also a cancer survivor. Your mother needs to get clean of all these meds unless she has high blood presure. She is doing more harm then good. She needs to detox, eat well and step aside from all these advertised drugs. ## No one should stop any prescribed medication, without their doctor's approval. Ordered Femara(letrizole) from UK. I received odd shaped white pill with v design on one side and scored on other side. Im just skeptical as to what this really is?! It also came in a packaged marked "Bone Strength." Maybe just to pass customs?? Not sure....any help would be awesome! ## Hi, Gypsy! How are you? I tried doing some searching for this, but I'm not finding anything. Did you try contacting the place your ordered from to ask them about it? Does anyone know anything about these? I'll keep searching and post back, when I have information for you.

I am prescribed Lestrozole 2.5mg for breast cancer made by Femara. The only problem is that when I get my prescription it is always a different make. At the moment I have Actavis, but I would rather have the Femara which was prescribed from the hospital. ## HI, Flower! Do you have a problem with the generic ones? I'm not sure what the policy is where you're located, so I'd suggest talking to your pharmacist/chemist and asking them if you can get the name brand, or if you have to take a generic. I know in the U.S. much of it depends on your insurance and what it covers, for instance in most cases you have to take the generics. Learn more Femara details here.

I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor taking Femara everyday. One on my side effects however is weight gain. I have gained about 30 pounds in 3 years, Can I take sensa ## Have you consulted your doctor? Sensa is listed as being a natural weight loss supplement, but that means it isn't actually proven to work, nor is it tested for interactions and safety with other medications, such as the Femara. Thus, your doctor would really be the best person to advise you in this matter.

which is stronger femara or Soma muscle relaxers? ## Femara is not a muscle relaxant, Femara contains the active ingredient Letrozole, it is a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor that is most commonly used to treat hormonally responsive breast cancer. Soma contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol and it is a muscle relaxant, it works well for some people, but not for all. Was there some other medication you were thinking, rather than Femara?
