Faslodex Side Effects

I have been taking Faslodex and Zometa for the past 9 months for breast cancer, metasis to the bone. Faslodex was increased to 500mg monthly from 250mg the last 4 months. Has anyone had increased side effects from the increase to 500mg? Back pain, leg cramps, tingling in hands, with aching arms, are just a few. I never know when they are going to start, onset is fast and strong. Much more fatigue, also

Sorry to read of your condition and I hope your treatments help you beat it.

It is normal to experience more side effects any time your dosage is raised on a medication, it should start to taper off as your body adjusts to the new dosage. However, all cancer medications are very harsh on the body, so you will probably always have some side effects.

Fasodex contains the active ingredient Fulvestrant and everything you've described are normal side effects.

If they get severe and cause problems, then you should speak to your doctor about it.
