False Positive Methamphetamine Test, A Rn Told Me 30 Days After Tested.

Urine testing started June 2016 in my Dr's office. I signed some papers, did not have my glasses, had nurse explain to me what was this? Urine tested, left office with Hydrocodone 7.5. I also take Xanax 1mg x4 daily, for 30 yrs. Also take Ambien 60 mg nightly for sleep. Went back as scheduled 1 month later, nurse took me in a room to tell me I tested positive for Methamphetamine. I sat in shock, as she kept questioning me to tell her, she'd get me help. Asked if I wanted referral to a different dr. I said 'no'. 7 weeks have gone by and I'm so angry, I'd like to talk to the hospital administrator or make some type of complaint. I actually dropped my urine cup in toilette, just put it in door with 2 other cups, none labeled. I don't know what to do. HELP PLEASE!!

I tested positive for methamphetamine D and amphetamine L (as per lab test) on a random urine test at work. I take d amphetamine salt combo, subutex 8 mg, and 1 mg Xanax as needed. I've taken Naprosyn, Africa, Sudafed, claritan and advil as OTCS in the last week or so.. can u tell me how this is possible... I'm losing my CAREER, pension, med benefits, and I am a widow with 4 children... someone pleare help me, I am so scared.. how could this happen??

Sudafed may have caused your false positive. It has the drug methamphetamine in it.

This Happened to me also, was not notified of a failed Urine Test, until 9 days after, they had destroyed the sample. It was a false possitive for Methamphetamine. They have me on 13 or more prescriptions plus numerous supplements like MSM and DMG and other vitamins etc. I do no street drugs
