Etova Er

It has been prescribed one tbs per day of Etova-ER 400 at night for my wife to treat knee pain.Is it safe to continue this drug for a long period.

Etova-ER contains a time released formulation of Etodolac, it's a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling.

Common side effects may include: nausea, diIzziness, headache and stomach irritation.

There can be some issues from long-term use, such as ulcers and elevated blood pressure, which she should discuss with her doctor.

I am 71 yrs old,healthy, no problems, no side effects.
I fractured my 7th &8th rib in Feb,Xray shows healed,pain persists only while lying down. Advised Etova-P400&1/2 tabTancodep-2 morn&evening for ten days. No relief please comment

Tancodep contains Diazepam and Imipramine, this is used to treat anxiety and depression, while some antidepressants have been shown to help with some types of nerve pain, they aren't usually used to treat pain from injuries, such as yours, because they have to be take for about 4 to 6 weeks, before they have any effectiveness for that.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and irritability.

Hello, my mother (51 yrs) says Kineto-dp gives her much relief from pain rather than ETOVA-400 .. she is suffering from grade 1 osteoarthritis ... can they be taken together. Please advice.
