Can someone help me identify a small round white pill with a capital S on one side that is scored with a tiny 2 on the other side? ## Hello, Jane! How are you? The closest tablet I've been able to find has an S on one side and a 2 on the other, but they are both the same size. It is manufactured by Sun Pharma and contains 2mgs of Eszopiclone, which is used for the short treatment of insomnia. It is an oval blue pill with S 1 on one side. Nothing on the other. Need to know what it is ASAP! ## I found the description of a round blue pill made by Sun Pharma that's imprinted with S 1. It's identified as a 1mg Eszopiclone tablet; a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic agent used for treating insomnia. Unfortunately there aren't any photographs of it online to help verify imprint placement or pill shape ('round' can sometimes be a vague way of saying oval), but hopefully this can at least serve as a reference for further search efforts. Are the side effects more common with the manufacturer Roxane versus Teva for the drug eszopiclone? ## No, it is still the same medication, so the side effect expectation is the same. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, drowsiness, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, and sleep actions. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is this pill? Small round dark blue with a 3 on one side and S on the other side ## @Unsure, I've yet to come across an actual image of this pill, but from what I could gather the description matches that of a 3mg Eszopiclone tablet manufactured by Sun Pharma. This particular pill is also described as being round, blue, with an S on one side and 3 on the other. Eszopiclone is a hypnotic agent used for treating insomnia. According to NIH.gov, it works by slowing down brain activity in order to promote sleep. I hope this helps!

My father (87 years old) was consuming clonazepam for long time for sleep, around 1 year, and I think now he is resistant to this, I would like to know if a person that can not sleep can consume eszopiclone, now he is consuming Fenitoine. Please advise.. Thanks in advance. Regards, Marco

Small orange/peach round, uncoated pill from INDIA. No markings. They are supposed to be eszopisclone (generic lunesta). Came in legit looking bubble package. The back of package reads ESZO, color listed on back Ponceau 4R FCF. I found a prescription bottle of small blue round pills with Z E and 3 on one side and on the other a symbol that looks kind of like the ON button on a TV remote! I wouldn't risk taking the pills as I don't know how long they've been there but I'm curious as to what they are as the label has been torn off the bottle. other nanes for zipaclone ## Zopiclone has the brand name "Imovane" in Canada, and "Zimovane" in the UK. In the United States, zopiclone is not commercially available, although its active stereoisomer, eszopiclone, is sold under the name "Lunesta". There may be other brands names in other countries that I am not aware of, but hopefully this helps!
