Estratest Availability Outside Us?

I have taken Estratest or generics of same dosage/combination for years after my total hysterectomy with very good results. I work on a cruise ship and am rarely in the US. With the new FDA decision to treat it as a "controlled substance" due to the testosterone and the new prescribing regulations, I am having a VERY difficult time getting my medication and have been having to take other estrogens without testosterone in between my visits to the US. Does anybody know if there is a combination med equivalent to Estratest in other countries? I have been unable to find it in the few I've checked.

I have never herd of this intil today! Estratest sounds like heaven at this point! Is it by RX only? Do b you need blood work and all the other expensive tests?

It is by prescription only. I find on the latest version of FDA exempted anabolic steroids list that this med should be exempted, however the doctors and pharmacies all say it is a controlled substance now, making it very difficult to get.
I have tried emailing the FDA/DEA contact email to ask about it but have not yet received any reply.

Hi Lisa,

Sorry to hear about all the road blocks you've run into with Estratest. If it's of any help, posted below is another related discussion thread here on Estratest availability and possible equivalents that others have recommended (see comments #3 and #9):

Discuss/estratest-generic-no-loner-manufactured-236328.htm

Please keep in mind that the thread is from 2013. I've yet to come across any recent information, but will be sure to write back if/when I do. Also, I'm not sure if these other options are available outside of the US. For more specific details on foreign alternatives it may be best to contact local pharmacists.

I hope this helps!
