Espiride Tablet

I've been given espiride 50mg to take for two weeks and then as needed while the lilly something (generic is Nuzak) kicks in. But I wasn't told when to take it. The pharmacist was adamant that it would knock me out, but I see here that people are taking it twice a day and seem to still be awake. Can I take it in the morning?

Yes, the Espiride will most likely knock you out. The other people that are taking it twice a day are likely already used to taking it, so they don't suffer the side effects very intensely, anymore.

However, since you've not taken it before, they will likely hit you pretty hard, so taking it at night would be a good idea. You may also experience nausea and dizziness.

So far the only side effects I'm feeling is like I'm 'wired'. I don't know if that's the espiride or the nuzak, but since I'm only in my second week of both it can't be the nuzak coz that takes a while to start doing anything. I would prefer not to be clenching my jaw all the time. I would like to know what "it has a half-life of 6 to 8 hours" means. Am I going to be sleeping through all the positive effects of espiride if I take it at night, or does it only start to work properly after 6 - 8 hours? Also... I didn't take it today (trying to give my jaw a break) and I'm constantly yawning.
