just was given cipralex to try for depression and anxiety - been on zoloft, effexor then prestiq - just wondered if anyone has had any good results

I have been taking Lexam for approx 4 mths and found it to be far better than Zoloft or the mulitude of others I've been put on in the past. As I'm single I can't comment on any issues with Libido, something that it definitely affected by Zoloft, but I can say that it definitely makes it easier to get up each day. I sleep less (unlike when on Endep) and have more energy than before. I've had no issues with weight gain for once. If anything I've lost a little because I'm not gorging myself with comfort foods. I hope it works as well for you.

Escitalopram is used to treat depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, mood swings, and weight changes.

Kandis, how are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

Mickeydee5, it can vary from person to person, since we are all different. How are you doing on this medication?

Hi! I've never heard of Lexem. Is this for major depression or anxiety or both? Tried Trintillex for 7and half weeks. Too many side effects came off a very low dose 2.5 mg but I am very sensitive to antidepressants. It took 2 weeks before l felt fine.
