oralcon contraceptive efficacy while taking erythromycin

Hi, I have been on oralcon for the past few months. I had unprotected sex 2 days ago, and then went to the doctor for a UTI and she put me on erythromycin (an antibiotic), and I know that antibiotics may negate the effects of contraceptives but I just wanted to know if there is a chance that I may end up falling pregnant as a result of being on the antibiotics now (even though I won't be having unprotected sex for the next 2 weeks). My concern is over the unprotected sex I have already had and whether I will still be covered in terms of contraceptives.

Men use Althea pills for Acne Treatment only

Is it okay if I use Althea Pills eventhough im 17 years old and im a boy, just to treat my pimples? is there a side effect on me? ## Hello, Del! How are you? No, they will not do anything for you, except cause problems. These are hormonal based contraceptives that are formulated for women, so the doses in them are far too high for men, unless they want to start developing female characteristics, such as breasts, losing chest and facial hair... you get the picture. Erythromycin via mucose membrane

Please see this as a hypothetical question in regards to having access to just several gastro-resistant pills in an isolated setting where swallowing them as usual would be too short a course to be effective and breaking the pills would allow the stomach to destroy them. I would like to know if this is a viable way to administer a measured amount of the antibiotic once powdered. I'm asking that, if necessity required it, whether nasal inhalation, insertion under the prepuce or perhaps applied to the rectum would be effective. ## Yes, hypothetically it would be effective. However, rather than powder it yourself, in most countries you can get liquids or suppositories of antibiotics to take. erythromycin. Cellultus infection weakness

Erythromycin 250mg was prescribed to treat cellulitis ,a red itchy rash on my leg , I now know is an infection under the skin . I was asked to take the tablets every 6 hours. So found that difficult as I was asleep for the fourth one . I have one days medicine left , but had some more rash appear yesterday , I'm feel very weak and think I need more medicine , please advise . ## See the Doctor ASAP. Cellulitis is nothing to mess around with. It is in fact a very serious condition, you should keep the offending leg raised higher than the heart i.e: lying in bed with the head on a small pillow and the leg resting on four pillows stacked high! Rest, raised leg and get that medication corrected. You're not better after a ten day antibiotic? You might need IV antibiotics at this point...
