Equate G128
UpdatedI refilled my Equate antacid equivalent to Gaviscon which I have been using for years. The new tablets which have an imprint of G 128 are nothing like they have been. They are now somewhat gritty and have a mint flavor. The former tabs have little taste but for a slight sweetness. They are not gritty and evolve into almost a gel when chewed.

Did you ask the Wal-Mart pharmacist about this?
They may have changed the formulation of the Equate product.

It is considered an over the counter product, which doesn't require a prescription, so they are really free to change some stuff about it, whenever they choose to do so.
