Eptoin 100mg Side Effects And How To Stop Using It (Page 2)

My brother has been taken eptoin 100mg for more than 4 years till date with 2 doses a day and at present he is complaining of backaches and pain in the right leg which he cannot move and sometimes he is having breathing problem and weak. He could not sleep every night but slept around 2-3 Am morning till 11:00 Am, along with eptoin 100mg, the doctor advised him to take Dicorate 500mg and lobazam-0.5 which he is taken regularly. Do these medicines have any side effects? If he stops eptoin what would be the result? Please do reply with any suggestions.

Dr give her eptoin three times a day .. Bt now csf in increased again should i give her diamox 250 three times a day??
I there any prblm for giving her eptoin n diamox togthr??

I am 26 years old. About 6 years back I got epileptic seizure and then I start taking Eptoin as prescribed by me medical adviser. In the beginning of the treatment I used to take some other medicines as well with that which I had for around 6 months. Then I stop taking those medicines. But keep on taking eptoin from the last 5 years. I was fine but from the last 3-4 months my right hand shivers. In the beginning it was not that much but now it shivers a lot. It only happens when I try to concentrate on something. Sometimes I am not even able to hold anything in my hand. I have been working in a BPO for last 3 years and it is a stressful job. Is it a side effect of eptoin?
Or is it because of the my job? Please advise

I am 56 year, in 1970 i got head injury after than i feel normal. in 2006 i got a seizure attack started from my right foot a sharp wave of blood gone from my foot to my head and than i m going unconscious. as per my family coments my body in abnormal movement uprolling of eye ball episode persists for 40min. after that i feel normal but my tongue bite. at that time aiims doctor started me 3 aption 100mg tablet once in the nite time.since nov.2013 i am feeling well after 6 to 7 years i drop to take medicine. than after 4 months i undergone same apisode. again the doctor start with the medicine Levera 500mg. BD, i think its too strong as aption 100mg, so please advise me i can start my old course of medicine as there is any side effect or what i can do.

iam prasanth my brother used eptoin 100mg for 1month for fixness.after 1 month his left leg has no movement.vomiting.we went to another doctor .he checked the blood &said that the level was 40above.he said to stop eptomin 100mg.

Dear mister/madam,
I am be, a foreign stident in india. I was suffering from acute pain in the lower right abdomen, and was diagnosed with a sludge in the gallbladder (Friday). Went to hospital and pain was gone same day but was admitted in ICU because my heart rate was 40 to 50 (up to today, thursday, they dont know why). In ICU while admission of some drugs, i got my first seizure. Concious seizure, all my body muscle stop responding, even my lungs, i just could not take in air. Lack of air, i fought to take air, but finally felt unconcious. Sunday i got deep anxious feeling, irregular heartbeat, tingling in my feet and arms, and lack of focus somtimes. Same feeling happened on Tuesday. Wednesday, i stop taking the eptoin, but the downs were less intense but more frequent. I was never asked about my history or family history, no eeg or mri and i found out i was given 100mg eptoin 3 times a day since saturday. When i told that it could be the side effects of eptoin, i was told that, the eptoin i was for the general public, and that side effects would not manifest in this short time. They also me told me as my seizure was really intense, i was given eptoin to reduce the effects of seizure relapses, which might occur. Is it enough for a reason to be given eptoin without being properly diagnosed as epileptic? Since last week, im really week, sleepy and dreamy all the time, sometimes eye miss focus, and like brain tingling, eyesight really heavy, tingling in my feet, irregilar heartbeat and as i feel my legs light, i get really anxious that it might just be another coming seizure. I cant trust the doctors here because things were not done properly... i stop eptoin since yesterday by myself but still get those reactions,describe above... is it still the side effects of the eptoin withdrawal, or its an aura of epileptic relapses? I was never epileptic, so i feel really scared if its the medecine, is causing all this or just that i became epileptic since my seizure? Thanks...

i have been experiencing the same problem i really wanna know if this is one of the side effects of memory loss from the drug and what i can do to get help related to memory loss. my doctors keep on telling me it has nothing to do with the drugs bla bla but i know and i am experiencing memory loss.

I am 40+ male, have a headache issue not responding to regular medication. Someone advise me to consult neuro surgeon. After CT Scan he diagnosed meningioma and ask me to get admitted. Urgent attention is required. It will be a minor operation. I have no history of epilepsy or fists or vomiting. I denied getting admitted n operation because I visited alone. My body weight is 40 kg. He advised 300 mg eptoin thrice a day total 900 mg / day. It worsened my health condition and within 24 hours admitted n operated on 17/05/2014 with gamma knife at AIIMS, NEW DELHI. I am taking eptoin 300 mg / day since then. I have worsen my body condition, loosing weight and feeling low also lost appetite also have severe profuse bleeding from gums. I am almost hopeless. Please advise. For me AIIMS, New Delhi is hopeless place.

I AM A PATIENT SINCE 15 YEARS OF EPILEPSY. I HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL DOCTOR'S FROM NASIK, BOMBAY, DELHI (MEDANTA HOSPITAL). LASTLY DOCTOR STABILIZED MY DOSE AS FOLLOWS TO HELP ME FEEL BETTER TELLING ME NOT TO TAKE ON ANY EXTRA TENSION OR WORK LOAD OR MENTAL LOAD. MY LATEST DOSE IS AS FOLLOWS:

MORNING: 1 TABLET 5 MG FRISIUM AT 9 AM

EVENING: 1 TABLET 10 MG FRISIUM AT 6 PM

AFTER DINNER: 300 MG 1 TABLET OF EPTOIN
