Verwon Says:

Envas contains Enalapril, it is an ACE inhibitor that is used to treat high blood pressure and chronic heart failure.

There are no listed contraindications for using it, if you're diabetic, however, you may want to double check that information with your doctor or pharmacist.

Common side effects may include:

hypotension, dizziness, headache and dry cough.

Is there anything else I can help with?

d k s bhat, that would not be a normal side effect of this medication. Some people do experience a dry cough, while they are on it, but if you are experiencing anything more severe than that, you should contact your doctor immediately.

You may be having a severe reaction to this medication or you could be experiencing another health problem that needs medical attention.

Some breathing issue can be signs of heart problems, such as congestive heart failure.

Are there any other questions?

Verwon Says:

Sanjay, Enalapril, the active ingredient in this is an ACE inhibitor and it can be used by people with kidney problems, as long as their doctor has carefully considered their dosing.

There are always risks associated with any medication, but you also have to weigh them against the fact that letting your blood pressure continue to rise, out of control, is much more risky.

Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?
