Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm sorry that you cannot afford your medication.

If you have insurance, you may be able to get help paying the rest of the cost from the Patient Access Network Foundation, it's what they specialize in, to ensure that people can get the medications they need. To see if you qualify, you can call them for more information at 866-316-7263.

Alternatively, towards the lower right of each page on this site, there is a printable pharmacy discount card that you use, it is free and may save you money on the prescription.

As listed by the FDA, Entocort EC is used to treat mild to moderate Crohn's Disease. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, sore throat, cough and easy bruising.

Does anyone else know of any assistance for this medication?

I have been on Entocort EC-3 for several yrs. Now I am getting worse (due to Crohn's or Colitis disease). I have had 2 colonopscopies starting in 2012 (1) and then 2017 (1). My Gastro Dr. (now unable to see) and assistant put me on this for about 6 yrs. Now I have gotten worse the last 2 yrs (plus other problems caused by some other medications taken). I have made an appt. with a Gastroenterologist for Aug 2020 that has been difficult to get to (with all the Covid-19 problems). I am hoping that he can help me (almost 73 yrs' old now). Any info could help me. PLEASE.
