Energy Loss

My Dr. prescribed 1.62% pump after I complained about excessive tiredness. Test results showed my T level to be 1/2 the recommended minimum.

After using three pumps I suddenly regained energy and was no longer sleeping 10 or more hours at night and 3 - 4 hours in the afternoon.

However, my latest refill changed instructions. I had been applying the gel to my belly but now the instructions say to only apply to shoulders and upper arms. I have done this for a week and my lack of energy and long periods of sleep have returned.

Should I ignore the new instructions and apply to my belly as that worked best for me? Why did they change the instructions?

I am 73. I noticed there was no increase in libido although that was not why it was prescribed.
