End Of Bottle Effectiveness?

Updated

OK. Kind of a weird question but has anyone noticed their androgel losing effectiveness toward the end of the bottle? I know I'm not imagining things. I'll start to feel droopy and my muscles hurt. I'll mention it to my wife and the first thing she'll ask is - are you at the bottom of the bottle again - and sure enough I am. Was really hurting this week - switched to a full bottle and feel better already. Thoughts? Your experience?

Hello, Tooslowjoe! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you've had.

Liquids, gels and ointments do tend to degrade much faster than other forms of medications, but I'm not finding any other reports of this issue.

I know they usually say that shaking it or anything isn't necessary, but perhaps from now on try gently rolling the bottle a little, before you apply it, perhaps that may help by keeping the testosterone more evenly suspended throughout.

Have you spoken to your doctor about this issue?

Does anyone else have anything to add regarding this?

Hello, I am a journalist for french television, I am looking for people who are using androgel. We would like to know why you chose to do so and what were the benefits of taking it? {edited for privacy}

Yup, I've noticed the same thing... With a new bottle I start to feel great; but as it gets near finished I start to feel crummy again. I considered shaking the bottle to better mix the testosterone through the suspension gel, but not sure what that will do. My doctor says that it shouldn't matter, as it takes weeks to absorb into your system... but I know how I feel. Perhaps we are more sensitive to testosterone and feel the difference immediately. I know I do...

I experience the exact same thing.I don't care what doctors say,the fact is that is doesn't work as well at the end of the bottle.I don't think shaking it will do any good either.I don't know what the answer is,but this is NOT a weird question at all!

I thought I was imagining things. At the end of a bottle last week and had lab work. T levels below 300, down from mid-500s.

Just had them checked last week,as the bottle was just about to the end.T was 134.

Yes, I have had this problem before with different drugs.

I would check your storage area, i.e., keep it out of sunlight, keep it out of heat, keep it out of the bathroom ... et al. Talk to your pharmacist about the shelf life... How long has it been sitting in their hands, etc.

Then again!

Maybe a conjunctive therapy? I will again try and convince someone to take DextroStat - please ignore me.

A small dose of DextroStat may help with depression and stimulate the adrenal glands hence more effective anti-inflamitory.

If you want to trim up some water gain, this stuff works like a charm.
