Enbrel induced- Optic Neuritis-Hi everyone, I am 29 years old and took Enbrel for 2 1/2 year (from 2010-2013). I had to discontinue use because I developed optic neuritis. IN the past 15 months my vision has worsened. My latest eye scan showed that I have lost 25% vision in my right eye and 10% vision in my left, IN 1 YEAR, due to the Enbrel induced ON. Please get your eyes checked if you are taking a biologic!!! Most biologics are associated with ON. Symptoms start as dull to sharp eye pain, vision changes, and head aches. Very important!!! just wondering did anyone have a bad reaction to enbrel? I had to stop after 7 weeks. ## Hello, Molly! How are you? Yes, it has happened to others, so it's not just you. It just seems to be one of those medications that either works well for someone, or it doesn't, no middle ground. What else have you tried?

I saw a commercial for Arthritis relief and I thought they said the drug was Enboral? ## Was it possibly Enbrel? There have been a lot of commercials out for it. It contains the active ingredient Etanercept, it is given by injection and used to treat various auto-immune disorders, including some forms of arthritis. Learn more:

some of the enbrel injections are painful, the more painful, the less pain and swelling i have with my RA. has anyone else experienced this. ## Usually, when you experience pain like that from an injection, it's because some of the medication has stayed in the muscle and not gone directly into the body, so it takes longer for it to be absorbed. I wonder if the slower release of it just works better for you? This is just a guess, since I have never had to use it myself. Does anyone have any experience with this? ## my husband slowly injects the enbrel injection, thankyou for your reply, do you find that, only 50% of the injections give you, stiffness and pain relief. i have been injecting the enbrel for two years and seem to be getting less relief.

When considering Enbrel as a medicine for Psoraisis in a More than 50% case on the body, Does Fenethylline (Captagon) pills have any Undesired or Bad Effects on the medication incase it's taken when needed, ## Enbrel contains the active ingredient Entanercept and is used to treat auto-immune conditions. Fenethylline/Captagon is a stimulant. I do not see anything listed that contraindicates using them together, however, this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. I have taken Enbrel for Psoriasis for the last 4 years. The side effect I had was allergic. I stopped taking it for one month and my Psoriasis became worse. Back and leg pain started and they were unbearable. I have to be on medication and am addicted to the drug. Is this normal? ## It is very common to experience withdrawal symptoms and rebound conditions when you abruptly stop taking any medication. If anyone has any experience with this, please post!
