I found a round pink pill with w325 on it. what is this? It is not even a half inch in diameter ## Hello, The closest match I've been able to locate based on the description you've provided is Enalapril (10 mg); which is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and some types of chronic heart failure. It is a round pink pill with the imprint W 925- maybe the imprint was smudged and now the 9 appears to be a 3? Most common side effects include hypotension, dizziness when standing up, and dry cough. Manufacturer: Wockhardt USA National Drug Code (NDC): 64679-0925 Do you think this could be your pill? You can learn more about this drug on the page for Enalapril Details ## This was indeed my pill. Are they a good combination? My BP was always around 120/65-75 and suddenly it went up to about 150/93. I took pharmapress 10mg and fedaloc sr60 for months. I had prexum plus in my meds cabinet and took one after taking pharmapress and fedaloc as always. Now my BP is down again to about 130/74. It seems the prexum did help. What now? ## The problem is that the Pharmapress, which contains Enalapril, and the Prexum Plus, which contains Perindopril, are both ACE inhibitors, which means you are essentially doubling up on the same medication, which could cause you to take too much, and overdose. An overdose may cause symptoms such as shallow breathing, extreme dizziness, fainting, and dangerously low blood pressure, and heart rate, according to FDA warnings. REF: Perindopril and Enalapril I...

Kidney issues is not listed among the known adverse reactions associated with enalapril maleat, in fact Pharmapress has reportedly been used to treat kidney failure. Is there any other types of medication that you are taking that could be causing this problem such as daily usage of an acetaminophen? Hopefully this helps a little. Have a wonderful day. ## Hello everyone. So I've been taking Pharmapress and have noticed it makes me brain dead, but if I stop using it, I feel awesome and if I us...

a leveler for blood pressure ## Enalapril is an ACE inhibitor that is used to help lower blood pressure, certain cardiac conditions, and to improve heart function. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. However, there is no such thing as a blood pressure leveler. Your blood pressure will never hit one steady number, and stay there. It is always going to fluctuate, depending on what you've eaten, your activity levels, other medications you take, and etc. How is it working for you?

I just started taking Enalapril Maleate 5 mg 20 days ago. This is the first BP medicine that has been prescribed to me. On day 7, I was experiencing a dry cough daily. On day 17, I developed a sore throat, laryngitis and I was coughing up lots of flem. On day 18 and 19, my hands became very swollen. On day 20, my Dr. had me stop taking Enalapril Maleate 5mg. I was initially pleased with the medication because my BP dropped to 110/70, but the side effects were too severe to continue with Enalapril. ## Yes, those can be side effects that some people experience, when taking this medication, according to FDA reports. The dry cough is usually a warning sign, once it starts it doesn't tend to go away and you must switch to a different medication. I experienced it with Lisinopril and it dr...

I forgot if I took my blood pressure medicine this morning. I take 20 mg of enalapril maleate in the morning every day. If I don't take it today will it hurt me or if I take a double dose will it hurt me? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? What did you decide to do? For future reference, unless your doctor specifies otherwise, it is generally more risky to skip a dose, since that creates the risk of your developing rebound high blood pressure and elevated heart rate, which could reach dangerous levels that create the risk of heart attack, or stroke, according to the NIH. Taking a double dose just once is usually not as dangerous, since it will generally only results in your experiencing more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and lower blood pressure....
