How are you feeling? Elavil isn't an analgesic, so it's not something you can take as needed to help with your pain. It is a tricyclic antidepressant, so it can help with some types of pain, but in order to do so, it needs to be taken consistently for several weeks, before it reaches a therapeutic efficacy level in your body. If you need immediate pain relief, then you should contact your doctor to see what would be ...

Can i take 200 mg of elavil and 300mg of morphine together ## My findings state that there are some potentially unsafe interactions that apply to these two medications. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using Elavil (amitriptyline) together with Morphine may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Small Blue Pill 10 On One Side Blank Other side, what are they? ## Hi Star, While I haven't come across an exact match, I did find information leading me to believe that this pill is most likely manufactured by Apotex, Canada. If it's light blue it might be Elavil 10mg, & if it's a darker blue maybe Trifluoperazine HCl 10 mg. Can any one tell me why that is ?. I would really like to know! ## Hi, the reason they have stopped working is because you have developed a tolerance to them. This happens with many, if not all sleeping meds. You may wish to talk to your doc about going on a higher dosage or perhaps changing to a different medication. I find it helps to take them every other day, or even once every third night to stop your body from getting used to it. Changing to ambien may help or going from one script of ambien for one course then back to zopiclone ...

I found a round yellow pill with 2103 on one side, can you please identify this pill for me? ## I located your round pill to be Amitriptyline HCl (50 mg). NOTE: it is noted to be brown and not yellow in the drug databases; and the full marking reads 2103 V. Amitriptyline is used in the United States and United Kingdom to prevent migraines only in very small doses. It is also used as sleeping aids in small doses of usually 25 mg, and for diabetic retinopathy. For information about this drug, please refer to the link below... supposed to be elavil ## If there is no imprint then it is not a legal U.S. prescription tablet for Elavil. All prescription tablets sold in the U.S. are requited to have markings on them, to enable their identification. Where was it obtained? ## A friend's son was asking me about his Elavil, he noticed it did not have an imprint and I work in a pharmacy as a tech., he was wanting to know what it was. I did not know so I went to your site. He goes to a Government funded clinic here in Georgia, and has Medicaid.
