Efudex Doesn't Have To Be A Nightmare

Updated

I was prescribed Efudix to treat spots on the back of my hands. I have been applying a thin layer daily for 4 weeks. I have had no side effects, no irritation, burning sensations, blistering or pain. The spots have become slightly redder and that's all. Efudix does not have to a nightmare and every case is different.

That is correct, we are all different, so not everyone will experience side effects while using it. The typical side effects may include skin redness, burning, sun sensitivity, and swelling.

Are you still experiencing good results with it?

Re: VerFree (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

Hi. I will touch base with you again early next week. I am meeting the skin doctor on Monday to get their opinion. Still little or no change after 6 weeks. The Pharmacist has suggested twice daily application but I will be guided by the medico when I see them

It is possible that you did not have serious precancerous conditions. I have used it numerous times. With different results. Some areas were a nightmare and some were as you described your reaction to be. All depends on the progression of the precancerous cells.

Re: VerFree (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

Applied my first dose last night to my chest and had no surface symptoms yet but felt like my heart rate was up and I did not get a wink of sleep. I am not stressed about taking this, so stress is not the cause of the insomnia. Going without sleep for weeks is not up my alley. Any help here?
