Effect Of Gynaecosid On Nursing Mother

Please, can I use gynaecosid while still breastfeeding? My baby is 7 months old now. And it's confirmed that I'm pregnant.

Please doctor, I am nursing a 1 year and 2 months old baby and i missed my menstrual cycle so I took gynaecocid so I want to know how long I can stay without breastfeeding my child?

Gynecosid contains hormones to help induce a period in women that have skipped theirs, or whose cycles are off, but it will not do anything, if you are already pregnant. It is normal to not have periods, after becoming pregnant.

Thus, you really have no reason to use it.

Aisha, it is normally only prescribed if you've missed 2 periods in a row, though I am not a doctor, so you need to follow the directions provided by your healthcare professional.

Additionally, improper use has the potential to be dangerous, you may suffer severe bleeding.

Unfortunately, I can't find any information on whether or not it is safe to go back to breastfeeding, after taking it. Does anyone else know?
