All medications carry the risk of side effects, even over the counter products. There is also really no way to say what may or may not be a better prescription for anyone, because their efficacy and safety can vary from person to person. The only way to discover which one is the best for you is to try them.
As to the changes in the odor of your urine and sweat, that is normal, if you reduce your fluid intake, due to their being more potent and concentrated. You should make sure to get, at least, 64ounces of fluid, daily. The concentrated odor is usually a sign of dehydration, so it may have been that you were taking your water intake too low.
Before I cover the details of the medications, I see your blood pressure as being a questionable concern. When was it 150/85 and how often has it been that high?
The reason I ask is because the 120/70, after walking, is very low, if it was taken immediately after activity. Your blood pressure and heart rate should be elevated, after exercise.
The Telma-H tablets contain Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, this is commonly used to help lower blood pressure and remove excess fluid from the body.
Its side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and dehydration.

The Storvas contains Atorvastatin, it is used to help lower cholesterol.
Its side effects may include: nausea, headache, stomach pain and joint/muscle aches.

There is really no cure, per se, for high blood pressure or high cholesterol, if you have these conditions, they are something you will have to keep an eye on, for the rest of your life. They may cause problems, again, at any time. You can lower them and get them under control, but you will never hit a point where your doctor says you are 'cured' and will never have to worry about them, again.
There are some cases where people get to a point where they no longer need medications, because watching their diet and getting proper exercise is enough to keep them under control, but even if you hit that point, you will still always have to be careful about it.
And with those cholesterol levels and if your blood pressure has been regularly measured at 150/85, then it is best to take the medications, to help lower the numbers, at least until such a time as your doctor says you no longer need them.
