Dumb Question, But Does Anyone Know If Methadone Can Be Obtained Online With A Legit Prescription?

I have a prescription @ methadone, and suddenly after 3 years, can't find any pharms in north FL or south GA that will fill it...DEA's making it impossible for folks with legit pain issues to get relief. Anyone know of any small pharmacies? The big chains won't fill. Help..

The big chains would be the most likely pharmacy to fill it as they get the largest allotted amount. The smaller pharmacies don't get as many a month. I'm having the same issues right now. I started a dr 9 years ago with legitimate issues and had no problems til almost a year ago. Now the smaller pharmacies are saying they require 2 or more non narcotic prescriptions in order to fill. Not to mention u now have to fill scripts in the county of the doctor and heaven forbid u moved recently and haven't changed drs cuz if ur id says another county ur looked at like a criminal and they heckle ur ass when they can look at ur history in eforce freakin duh!!!! We're getting punished for the mistakes of the real abusers

Lee Lee is right you can send out your RX and have a pharmacy online fill them

Yeah, it really is a pain, I'm so sick of being judged by the pill counting till tarts, their freaking job is to count the pills & put them in a bottle! Not judge me. I've been going to same dr, same pharmacy, same time of month, then a new person shows up and there went the one pharmacy I didn't feel like s*** going to after initially trying several. It sucks painly out. I'm not standing on the other side of the counter thinking about what a fat slob she looks like, why is she judging me from the other side? I have a good degree from a Greg university, I'm married to a Dr (not the kind that writes scripts, a researcher), & have never been convicted of a felony, I dress neat and clean, but had my spine crunched by a drunk driver. Now the rest of my life is ruined, I can't sleep more than 3 hours on a good night, am always in pain, and no one, not my family, not my insurance, and even my pharmacist is a pain and not helping. No one would suggest that someone is 'dependent' on their heart medication of antipsychotics and that they need to live out the rest of their lives without it. Why should I? I am functional, can get around with medication, and methadone doesn't even give you a 'high', that's why I took it vs other painkillers! I'm so sick of judgement. Yet last time I was waiting in the pharmacy they ran out of valium, and as I sat there (it was rush hour so took a bit of time) I saw like 5-6 really stereotypic model Housewife/PTA Perfect Mom come in and like freak out worse than a junky because they were going to have to wait ONE DAY to get it filled. Funny, these were the Exact Women who are always so judgmental of me.
