My Dr prescribed this TEVA 7543 for my chronic lower back pain. How does it work? I don't have depression and Duloxetine is an antidepressant.

The FDA has discovered that many medications in this class can also help with certain types of nerve pain, but it may take 4 to 5 weeks, before you know how well it will work for you. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight gain.

How long have you been taking it?

Going to start Dulan (Duloxetine) 20 mg with Inderal. I have pain in my arms, shoulder and neck. Especially at night. I can't bend my arms due to pain and discomfort. I stay awake most nights. Pain gets worse after intercourse. Hope this will help improve my symptoms.

I have been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis. Is it safe to take duloxetine? Is it a narcotic?
