Drugs For Narcolepsy

I am wondering about trying Vyvance to treat narcolepsy. I currently take dextrostat 30 mg 3 times a day and since it is now generic dextrostat, it is absolutely not effective at all. Can I have feedback either on Vyvanse or any other drugs that you have found to be effective. Thank you and I look forward to your replies

my brother in law's brother has had this problem for years and believe it or not he takes ritilin(I hope spelled right has helped him (no problems or side effects. Hope thie helps you.

Hi, I have been taking Vivance 70 mg for about 3 months now because I have been diagnosed with a mild case of narcolepsy. It helps tremendously with my energy level/staying awake during the day, which is most important since I lived in fear of running into a car or off the road while driving having come close a couple of times in an almost hypnotic-like state. However I still seem to awaken several times a night. Sometimes I do not got right back to sleep.

You can mostly try any stimulant medication, such as Adderall, Vyvanse. Dexedrine, and Focalin, as well as their their generics.

The FDA warns that most of them carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and anorexia.

I have not taken any of these, can anyone that has chime in with their experiences?
