Does the hydrocone in Lortab 10/500 show up the same in a urinalysis test as Norco 10/325?

Yes, they will both show up as the same thing on a standard urine test, since the active narcotic in them both is Hydrocodone.

However, if this is a test from your doctor, they may also be looking at the levels of the medication, so those levels may be off if you are taking more or less of the medication than you are prescribed.

My question is pretty similar to the one above. I am prescribed norco 10/325 I am prescribed 5 a day but sometimes I take a little more. Recently I ran out and took some expired lorcet. I believe that is 10/650. Will they be able to detect the difference in the level of apap?

no, not unless it is a 10 panel with explanded opiate test or there is an added test which is anything but standard that tests for oxycodone because hydrocodone shows up only as oxycodone since some hydrocondone is metabolized into oxycodone. But anyway a standard ten pannel tests for codein, heroin, morphine and hydro and oxymorphone. hydrocodone is synthetic with different metabolites it is like methatdone it must be specifically tested for and ten panel doesn't unless expanded opiate is added.

Lorcet just means it has tylenol, on a qualitative analysis they wouldn't be able to tell since the active drug is still the same.

So kind of on the same note, I am prescribed 10/325 1-3 a day and on some days I have taken 4, well I am out a week but I still have 4 left. If I take those 4 a couple days before my Urine test will I be okay? Today is the 12th and my test is the 19th and i am "supposed" to be out by the 17th so for 2 days I am supposed to be out. (P.S. my mom has vicodin 5-500 and I have been taking those so its not out of my system, Could my doctor tell?
