Years ago Nubain used to be a popular and effective drup for pain. It was the only thin that relieved my mom's back pain or my migrain headaches. I am a nurse and haven't heard of anyone getting Nubain in years so I asked an MD recently. He couldn't give me an answer. If it's not classified as a narcotic and relieves pain, why aren't more doctors prescribing it?

Stadol can be given as a nasal spray. The problem i had with it was rebound headaches.

I live in the state Tennessee. I have been taking this medicine for a long time. I am so glad my neurologist suggested it.

The Stadol helped me a lot..My Doctor used to be a pharmacist. He said the best one in that family is TALWIN. I have not been able to find it however.

They are sister drugs so unfortunately I'm not surprised she had a reaction to Nubain if she does with Stadol.

Recently my Child was given nubain mixed with anesthesia for an MRI procedure. It is said he was moving around. This seems a bit odd as to my child was ever given this before. After the procedure he had a severe headache, finger nails were visibly blue and shivering with coldness. Thereafter he went into convulsion and passed out. Now my child also complains of pain in chest when inhaling. and pain on the right side of hip and stomach. I never knew that anesthesiologist give this to such children, and I believe he never had this before. It was clear they were rushing us in and out of the facility. has anyone experienced this?
