Driving And Morphine Sulfate

I take 3x5 mg tablets of morphine sulfate, generally 3 times per day, for back pain, rib pain. At what level should one cease from driving a car, and what is the shelf life of 5 mg tablets?

As to the driving, you need to gauge that for yourself. It depends on how dizzy and drowsy you feel on the Morphine, it makes a lot of people conk out asleep, but only you can judge how much it affects you.

And the shelf life if they are sealed in the original factory container is 3 years, but once that is opened so they are exposed to the elements that cause degradation, they are only good for a year.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
