Dr In Charlotte, Nc Who Prescribes Xanax

I have been prescribed xanax for a number of years and my doctor who prescribed me xanax was old and went out of business. I have been going to another doctor but am having problems staying with a reliable dosage and other issues. I just need to find a Dr who will give me the same meds I have been taking for years and nothing more and nothing less.

I need to find a psychiatrist in Concord or Charlotte, NC that prescribe xanax. My anxiety is so bad I feel like I'm dying.

Hello Jr Eves,

Unfortunately it's not going to be that easy to get another doctor to just blindly start handing you medication simply because you were getting it from another doctor. The reason for this is similar to the reason that patients who are diagnosed with terminal diseases such as cancer are often urged to get 2nd and even 3rd opinions and that reason is because people make mistakes. Mistakes in the medical industry are being cracked down on especially around prescription medications. It would be foolish of a doctor to not diagnose you themselves and determine if they are positive you need the same dosages.

With that in mind there are some doctors who are very timid and others who are more lenient with their referrals and as such it will be up to you to find the doctor who best meets your needs. Below I have linked a website that I trust you can find a good doctor in your area.

Yes, I've been on methadone TENS for over 20 years, Xanax 1 milligram about the same, and my doctor just stopped and retired. Now I have no doctor. Anyone have a referral?

It will be most difficult trying to find a new Doctor to prescribe both Methadone & Alprazolam. You might need to find a pain specialist along with a Psychiatrist

I found that obtaining my monthly supply or the follow up doctor visit always added to the anxiety. I have many extras so I don't dwell over visits, even though I enjoy seeing my M.D. every few months! He's very old, I'm not that far away.

They almost never prescribe both; usually, only high-risk pregnant women receive the same thing with Subutex and Xanax too. Doctors need to listen to the patients as well. We know what works for us. People with a track record of years of taking it, who can prove that with previous records, should get a little pass. There's a history, and it works both ways. It's frustrating to know I have to hide my Subutex usage to get anxiety medication after having a severe, embarrassing panic attack in public three days ago. It then got worse; I got into the wrong car and loaded all 11 bags before realizing it wasn't my car. I was mortified and couldn't think. I don't usually cry, but on my way home after paying a doctor $266, and despite his website claiming he prescribes Xanax, he told me that because I used to use drugs, he couldn't give me a controlled substance. He said that would be reckless of him. First off, I've been sober from opioids for 15 years, and I've never relapsed, not even once. I moved out of my hometown, own a very successful business, and clear over $16,000 a month. I own a swimming pool company in Charlotte, NC, and I also have a record of being prescribed Xanax for seven of those years. However, finding and keeping a doctor is like changing your favorite candy bar. I'm just as stressed out trying to find a doctor, and I'm sure he put in his notes for the next doctor not to give me Xanax. I'm going to leave him the worst review I've ever left anyone! And to think, he would have helped me, considering he was a pool customer before. I believe he's upset because my husband canceled service for him.
