Double Schedule Ii Script In Texas

I got a script from my pain mgmt doctor today for 120 4mg Hydromorphone, been doing so for years. Had it filled but got 120 hydrocodone 10/325. Told them that was wrong and they sent me back to doc to get another script. I went back and had it filled only to find i now had both scripts filled and ready for pickup. Although i tried to explain to them the mix up they insisted that i had 2 orders ready for pick up(I Swear!). I paid for both and left. Am I in any trouble? I have a State license that i would lose for a felony and couldn't make a living. Please help im scared in Texas,

They couldn't make you take them both, you could simply have refused the one that wasn't correct. Yes, you could get in trouble, if someone questions this.

The best thing to do would be to return the one to the pharmacy, or surrender it to your doctor and make sure that you get documentation that you've done so.

The FDA lists these medications as being narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thank you I did just and returned them to the pharmacy... They were both embarrassed that they did that and surprised that I returned them... It's sad that someone trying to do the right thing surprises people these days... Thank you for taking the time to reply as you are the only one who bothered...!

And I agree, it is sad. I accidentally walked out of the store one day having not paid for a jar of spices, it had rolled under my purse, so I didn't see it at checkout. I went back in, explained it and the girl at the service counter was so amazed. She said most people would've just left with it and not worried about it.

However, I felt better knowing I'd gone back in and paid for it.
