Does Garcinia Cambogia Show Up On Drug Tests?

I would like to know for certain if garcinia cambogia could show up on a drug test? I am a pilot and always concerned about taking any supplements or things that could help with weight loss in case there's something that could show up as a drug.

Just because it isn't a controlled substance doesn't mean it won't show up on a drug test. If it has similar properties it can cause a false positive. For example, are poppy seed muffins "controlled substances?" Of course they aren't, but they can cause you to have a false positive drug test.

It shows up as testing positive for methamphetamine. I get tested weekly at a methadone clinic and that supplement like many weight loss supplements comes back as methamphetamine. Methamphetamine and methadone are nothing to do with each other, just to clarify as some ppl are ignorant to such things.

Garcinia has phentermine in it. You test as a "false" positive for amphetimine

From reading all these other reports I think this may be brand-specific and not the Garcinia cambogia itself. They've proven time and time again that a lot of these companies are putting amphetamines in their supplements to make them more effective to sell more product.

I've been taking the supplement at pretty heavy doses for the last month-and-a-half as a surprisingly effective addition to my weight loss regimen. I never really thought about it affecting a urinalysis. I recently had to take a Florida Department of law enforcement background check of which a urinalysis was part of the process. this was a full spectrum hard core urinalysis for a fairly high-ranking job in Florida law enforcement. I passed with flying colors no problem whatsoever. so at least in my personal opinion it doesn't affect anything

Your mother, by law, is allowed to have a second, computer tomography (I think that's the name of it) test done to verify the results. They can't just take her son away without a second test to verify the results. Tell her to stop taking the pills and get a lawyer.

Positive as what? Most drug screening breaks down into categories. Such as benzos, methadone, oxy, ethanol, etc. Just curious.

I'm on probation and have never been in trouble but once and now I fail my urine tests. I've read quite a few that were cocaine related without actual cocaine use.

I just failed a drug screen after taking 2 doses (and not even full doses I only took one the first day then two days later took 2) and they said my drug screen is positive for amphetamines. I just freaked out bc I know I have not taken anything then the nurse asked about any diet pill and that triggered my memory about taking these. So be very careful!! They are not worth the worry and stress for me.

Seems to be a trend same with my mom she was taking it and was the only thing she took and it showed up the same on her drug test

I've been on methadone for 14yrs. Been clean since April 10, 2004. Started taking the supplement about 10 days ago and got word today that my piss came back hot for methamphetamines. Lost my privileges. But not for long. Thought you should know.

I am a 60 year old grandmother and failed my drug test for the presence of Buprenorphine while on Garcinia Camborgia. I’m treated as if I’m a criminal now under suspicion. Garcinia Camborgia makes you metabolize the Buprenorphine out of your body quickly resulting as if you had not even taken the medication.
