ELKY - your situation sounds identical to mine, minus the small frame. I had some issues with childbirth was in a auto accident and have 2 destroye knees, back and Fibromyalgia. Seriously? Can't someone look at my history and figure out that 1) I have been on the same regimen for 8 years .... NO switching, calling in early, etc... Obviously it's working and I am living a decent life. It's bull**** what doctors make people go through. I am hoping that someone will see the light. It's going to be a battle, but chronic pain patients need to NOT GIVE UP!

i live in the birmingham area.i have been on norco for 7 years now.i can't find a dr.to prescribe them to me.can anyone out there help,and know of a dr.that will prescibe them.

I have been on meds for 12 yrs and my doc left so now I am left wth no meds and can not find a doc to help.I have been everywhere. Never any problem same pharmacy used Took UAs Now, I can not find anyone willing to take my case because I have had every procedure so they can not make any $$$ because I really only need medication to at least dress myself and pretend I am not alone in my agony. I can not find anyone in PA to help me.Yet,I see people abusing the system and they are treated and I am ignored

I think post or replies are just posted as they come in and in no special order. If I reply to you it will look like another post on this feed. I receive notification when something has been posted to the discussion and it says a reply has been posted but I think it means a reply to the DISCUSSION BOARD has been posted. If that is not the case I have not seen ANY of my replies either.

I am looking for a new d.r. in indiana prefereably around indianapolis area. I live in bloomington. I have been in pain managment for 7 plus years for many different reasons, Anything would help the doc i found now has me on 10mg percocet 4 times a day and its not cuting it. i was use to quite a bit more so any help would be appreciated. thanks

Im looking for a dr that will prescribe pain medication. I have 7 bulging discs throughout my back and neck and my dr wants to shut me off and put me on suboxen. So I would like to find a dr that will prescribe ocycodone, can you help me? I live in MA

I am still waiting for someone to help me in this discussion group too. I am in VA and haven't heard a word of who or where, here nor there to help me. Tried a link someone posted but I didn't see any good reviews so I opted not to try it. But I have got to get some relief. I have tried every protocol my PCP has given me and went to a referral plus another in my network. Everyone is holding back from helping. I even called my PCP to let her know of my visits on Jan 13th. She is yet to call me back. Does anyone have any answers? Please

Darn it!!! I was hoping for good news for a name in my area or some digits/site for me. I have been searching for almost 2 months. My doc is tight. I take less than 20mg Vic a day just to take the edge off the arthritis and fibromyalgia from friends with a few extra. I am not doing this for thrills or looking to get anything more.

That is really strange that you can't get the meds you need. I wonder why that is. I know what you are saying about them not returning your calls, So many doctors are so mean. It's like they have the power right in their hand with that pad. So many people have such a hard time, and the proof that they have chonic pain is right there on the MRI makes no sense

THAT IS WHY PEOPLE THAT ARE IN LEGITIMATE PAIN NEED TO KEEP FIGHTING. THERE IS NO REASON THIS IS HAPPENING. IF SOMEONE HAS ANY OTHER HEALTH CONCERN AND THERE IS A MEDICINE OUT THERE TO FIX IT - THEY ARE PRESCRIBED THAT MEDICINE. TELL ME, IF THAT PERSON WERE TAKEN OFF THE MEDICATION WOULD THE CONDITION WORSEN? SURE IT WOULD! WOULD IT SEEM LIKE THEY WERE IN WITHDRAW? SURE IT WOULD! BUT THE MEDICINE IS STILL PRESCRIBED. I AM SO SICK OF THE WORD ADDICTION! I JUST READ THAT A PATIENT IS NOT ADDICTED IF HE/SHE LEGITMATELY NEEDS THE MEDICATION. IT'S ONLY REASON. KEEP FIGHTING. EVENTUALLY SOMETHING WILL TURN AROUND. MAYBE SOMEBODY NEEDS SUED? IF A DIABETIC WERE KEPT FROM THEIR MEDICATION - WHAT WOULD HAPPEN? WHAT ABOUT A HEART PATIENT? I WISH SOMEONE WOULD WALK A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SOMEONE WITH CHRONIC PAIN AND TELL ME IF MEDICATION SHOULD BE KEPT FROM THEM? MEDICATION THAT HELPS THEM LIVE A FUNCTIONING LIFE. A PATIENT WITHOUT ANY ABUSE HISTORY. NO WRONGFUL TAKING OF THE MEDS, ETC.... JUST A HISTORY OF DESTROYED KNEES - BACK - NECK AND FIBRO. NEEDED TO VENT.
