Doctors Who Prescribe Methadone Not A Clinic

I go to a methadone clinic and I need a doctor in Indianapolis Indiana or Lebanon Indiana areas who prescribe methadone from their office.

I'm sorry, but if you've been going to a clinic, it would be illegal for a private practice physician to prescribe it for you. Remaining at a clinic is your only option, under current law.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

That isn't necessarily correct. Who do you think prescribes methadone at a clinc? A doctor. A doctor doesn't have to open a methadone clinc to the public to be able to treat opiod addiction with methadone. S/he does have to provide all of the services required by law. This is usually only feasible in a clinic setting for economic reasons. But it can be done in a private office. I am actually here to ask if anyone is familiar with a doctor who provides this service or has heard of it. I think it'd be too expensive but I am looking into the possibility.
