If you are truly off Xanax it is best to stay away from it? I have had no problem in getting it, big problem in trying to stop it!

Hello, Ellie! How are you?

Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis.

The best thing to do would be to set yourself up with a PCP and have them refer you to someone.

This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

I have been going to a psych doctor in broken arrow for a while and my car broke down and now I can't get to him. I'm looking for a psych doctor in Tulsa who can prescribe Xanax for my anxiety and panic attacks.

Re: Sherita (# 4)

Unless your State or your Health plan requires you go to a specialist, establishing yourself with a good Family practitioner is always a possibility, less costly and much easier.
